In our fall 2008 e-Newsletter we asked:

In your opinion, how long will it take the economy to turn around?

2.6% of you said “6 months – 1 year”
36.8% said “l yr – 2 yrs”
21.1% said “2 yrs – 3 yrs”
23.7% said “more than 3 years
15.8% said “It will never be the same”.

Our spring 2009 e-Newsletter poll question stated:

Whether or not you responded to our last poll, now, 6 months later, we would like to know if your opinion of the economy has changed.

… and asked:

Over the past 6 months, has your opinion of how long it will take the economy to turn around changed?

36.8% said: “Yes, I think it will take longer than I thought 6 months ago”
31.6% said: “Yes, I think it will turn around sooner than I thought 6 months ago”
31.6% said: “No, my opinion has not changed”
