Zicklin Graduate Leadership Speaker SeriesBy Ginny Goldberg
Smiling faces enter the Newman Vertical Campus each month to hear from a prestigious industry leader speaking at the Zicklin Graduate Leadership Speaker Series. Our students are eager to “listen and learn” from our visiting business leaders. For the past ten years, each semester, we have invited 3 - 4 prominent executives to the College to share their backgrounds and business acumen with members of the Baruch Community.
Our series focuses on leadership and ethics, providing an opportunity for our students to learn about different leadership and management styles. These business leaders share current business trends, talk about their business insights, and discuss their individual leadership philosophy. They represent an array of industries, backgrounds and geographical regions, and share the values consistent with Baruch College and the Zicklin School of Business.
Many of our speakers are Baruch alumni who welcome the opportunity to return to our school and share their success stories! In addition to general sessions, students are invited to participate in a small group tea where they learn more about different career paths and corporate cultures in an intimate setting.
